Response time

Depends on origin

Inspections are scheduled based on location and availability at origin.

The times shown are for 36T’s response, assessment or quote. Execution time for each operation depends on origin, destination, type of goods, carrier availability, authorities and third parties involved.

Check your order before it ships.

If a problem with your order shows up once the goods are already in Mexico, fixing it costs more and takes longer. Inspecting at origin lets you catch it while the goods are still with your supplier.

Three ways to check your order.

  • Goods inspection

We inspect your goods at origin.

  • Pre-shipment review

We review your order before it’s shipped.

  • Production monitoring

We follow the production of your order with the supplier.

    Your order

  3. Step 03

  4. Step 04

    Findings

Frequently asked questions

What does pre-shipment inspection include?

Depending on the service you hire: goods inspection, pre-shipment review and production monitoring.

Does the inspection include product samples?

No. Product samples are not part of the pre-shipment inspection service.

When does the inspection take place?

It’s scheduled based on the supplier’s location and availability at origin. Plan it ahead of your shipping date.

Is it the same as supplier verification?

No. Verification checks the supplier and its factory; inspection checks your goods. You can hire either one or both.

Can you also handle the shipment and the import into Mexico?

Yes. After the inspection we coordinate freight, Mexican customs clearance and NOM compliance, with one accountable partner.

Tell us what you want to import into Mexico.

We reply the same day and send your all-in quote within 24 to 48 business hours.
